I was diagnosed with a torn labrum at UF. After all the work-up, I was told my options were that I had no options. They go in, cut out the torn piece, and in a few years down the road (who knows how many), I will get a hip replacement. Even though I lived in Orlando, I was told UF was the best place for this surgery because they teach all the new techniques and have the newest equipment. Everything I was reading was telling me this surgical treatment was the only route, that torn labrums are un-repairable. I decided to search around for the best surgeons, and Dr. Reuss' name kept showing up, so I scheduled an appointment. He told me that he could do the surgery, and he wouldn't know for sure until he got in there, but there was a chance at least he could repair it. Surgery went well, and when I woke up I was shocked to hear that he was able to repair my labrum. So, this is all well and good...but how will this last over the years? I am happy to say this surgery occurred 4 years ago. My hip pain hasn't returned. I have been able to return to my normal workout routine at the gym, I have gone on 40-mile backpacking trips, and mountaineering in Alaska. Thank you Dr. Reuss!! If you're considering surgery, this is the person you should trust.

Dr Reuss is amazing!! He has performed meniscus surgery not only on me but my husband as well . Also my husband had a knee replacement last year and is doing amazing. I’m seeing him now for knee injections and would not go to anyone else but him! Highly recommend him!

I’m working with Dr. Reuss to treat my left knee, which has damaged cartilage. He is very knowledgeable, listens to the patient’s concerns, educates the patient about their options, and gives recommendations based on how he would treat his own injuries. He offers traditional treatments and regenerative treatments (prp and stem cell). I highly recommend him.
