Benny got a good attitude and a winning formula. How can you go wrong? Super chill yet upbeat...nostalgia galore with lo-fi analog throw back magnets to remind you of cool. A good attitude sets the mood for a good time. Long faces go somewhere else...
If you love 90's hip hop and New York, this place is perfect. Even if you don't like either of those things, it's still got that neighborhood bar feel and a wide selection of beer and personable bartenders.
Old school hip hop. Craft beers on tap and to-go unlike anywhere else in town. Excellent selection. Nate & Chris are rad bartenders. They'll make you feel 100% welcome. Great place to meet locals and the King of Wings truck is it front. This place is legit. If you don't know, now you know.
Just found this local place, all I can say is awesome. Fantastic selection, super friendly bartenders, super cool inside. If you're looking for a great local bar don't hesitate to check this place out! Will be back.
Yes, just yes. We live within walking distance of this new spot and couldn't be happier to have it in our neighborhood. From the really fun graffiti / 90s vibe inside, to the amazing staff (shout out to bartender Birdie for making us feel amazingly welcome and like we were regulars on our first visit) to the great options and offerings, this place is a new staple for us.
We visited with a few friends who wanted to hit this place up for a drink or two. I was easily able to find parking and headed in the side entrance. There is bar seating and a couple of 'lounge' like areas with couches and cushioned seats if you prefer to space out.
The walls are covered in amazing artwork and you'll want to note that you can reach out to the artist for purchasing prints if you want to!! Support local.
They have both beer and wine offerings. Their prices are super reasonable.
Overall: A+
A great new addition to the SOCDO Hourglass area!
